ADHD: A New Perspective

by Brenda on August 27, 2008

Do you have an ADD child?

What if, before that child was born, you were told by a Higher Power that your child had a brilliant, creative and inquisitive mind, capable of greatness? What if you knew you were raising the next Benjamin Franklin, Leonardo da Vinci or Walt Disney?

What would you do differently than you have? How would you handle problems at school and poor grades? Do you think your child’s self esteem and self confidence would be higher?

Or maybe you’re an adult with Attention Deficit Disorder. What if a Higher Power had visited you at an early age and told you the same things about yourself?

How would your life be different? What would you be doing that you’re not doing now? Would your self esteem and self confidence be higher?

Well, I’m no Higher Power of any kind, but I’m telling you now: people with ADHD have brilliant, creative and inquisitive minds, capable of greatness.

Now what are you going to do about it?
