Time Management Tools

As ADDers we often find ourselves with too much to do and too little time to do it in. We have issues with time in general.

And no, don’t tell us that everyone has the same 24 hours in a day. We won’t believe you. ;)

I found a great website that reviews a number of apps that can help you manage your time more effectively. But first, here are some general tips from me:

Don’t overbook yourself. Most ADD Moms have unrealistic expectations of what they can accomplish in a day or an hour or a week.

Estimate the time it will take and double it. If you finish early, enjoy your success.

Learn to delegate, prioritize and say no. You don’t have to do everything. And things done differently or imperfectly by someone else are still things you didn’t have to do.

Now that you’ve got those mastered, head over to U Do the Rest and check out their reviews of various time saving apps.

I have tried reQall, Toodledo, and Wunderlist. I haven’t stuck with any of them. That’s not so much a negative review of each app but more an indication of how dedicated I was to using them.

Of the list, the two I will definitely try are Routinely and Put Things Off. Doesn’t the name alone appeal to our general outlook on life?

Note: Put Things Off is an app for Apple products; Routinely is for Android.
