Is “Uh OH Addy” my type of ADD mom? I guess it’s darn accurate. I have no job and only one child– albeit a very active little boy– and I can’t seem to stay on top of the house at all. I am always telling myself to organize my clothes and my little boy’s stuff the night before play group, but I seem doomed to scramble around the house frantically looking for everything. I sift through piles of laundry for Arran’s clothes, and I have no idea where the car keys are half the time. somehow the interior lights of the car get left on from time to time, so even after I’ve made the mad scramble to get out of the house, I find that the car battery has died. Oh, and I’ve gone out of the house without my keys to find something, forgetting to unlock the front door, shut the front to keep Arran in, only to find that I’ve locked him inside and me outside. That’s happened twice. I have to laugh, otherwise I will just cry and cry. Glad to have found your web-site. I’m hoping to find some support!

THANK GOD FOR NANNIES!!!! My house is normally upside down when I’m on my own and I absolutely cannot cope with my 2 year old and the house without outside help. It is still disorganized, but at least with my Nanny the house is clean, meals are cooked and my Baby is taken care of. I feel guilty being a housewife not being able to cope but I am grateful for help. Still I hope this site will give me some resources so I can get it together and get on with my life! All the best for you fellow ADD Moms. Keep hope alive.

Uh oh! But I already knew this–all I have to do is look around. I have one child, a six year old boy and I am a stay-at-home mom. I never know where the time goes. I hope this website/blog helps.

This is no surprise….I would really like to have someone with me at all times to redirect me…. especially when I stop by my Facebook page for just a few minutes and it turns into a few HOURS! I think I’m trying to ignore the chaos around me by hiding online. I have 4 sons, all of whom are on the autism spectrum, yet, I still wonder why I can’t keep up with the house. Even when I had only one child, better yet, NO child, I was still a mess!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I think I must have fudged a few answers LOL I am sooo not organized at all! I too can lose myself on facebook for hours when I meant to be on a few minutes! My daughter and I live in a bedroom in my mom’s house right now (just got divorced this past year and I’m going to college now). You can’t see the floor most of the time. I would like to say it is ALL my daughter (ADHD and high functioning Autism), but I know part of the mess is mine!!! Wish I could afford a coach to help me get organized and help my daughter learn how to organize better.
