ADHD or Lack of Attention?

by Brenda on February 26, 2009

I read an article recently on Health that discussed adult ADHD. The article was called “Attention Sappers: 5 Reasons You Can’t Concentrate”.

The article pointed out that the lifestyle of many adults these days is contributing to their forgetfulness and lack of attention. Things like technology, lack of sleep, not enough exercise, stress, and job dissatisfaction can all make it more difficult for you to pay attention and concentrate.

So if you’ve got one or more of these things affecting your life (and who doesn’t?), do you really have ADHD or are you just overworked and stretched too thin?

The article does a good job at helping you figure those things out, adding in other signs you might want to look for, such as depression and anxiety. The article is presented in a slide show format, which makes it ADD friendly and easy to read. You can find it here.
